ALDERMAN PREKWINKLE VISITS BCC

On July 22nd, the Builders Center of Chicago had the pleasure of welcoming Chicago’s 4th ward Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, her staff and other community leaders to our north side office for a mid day meeting. After a tour of our office and some brief introductions, the group gathered in the Builder’s Showroom where Alderman Preckwinkle and her guests were introduced more formally to the members of the Builders Center team. Many topics were covered throughout the course of the afternoon. One topic in particular, BCC’s Rent to Own program, took center stage. For almost 20 years Alderman Preckwinkle has been serving Chicago’s 4th ward. In addition to numerous other accomplishments, she is well noted as being a leading advocate for fair housing in Chicago’s communities.

MEREDITH'S MORTGAGE MESSAGE

There is an affordable housing program available exclusively for teachers, public safety workers, health care workers and military personnel. This program is directed toward a large community of potential home buyers with good credit and special circumstances that may have prevented them from qualifying for a mortgage in the past.

These circumstances may include little or no money for a down payment, high debt to income ratios, low to moderate income, lack of credit or income that is difficult to verify. This program offers amenities normally not allowed with standard loan programs such as alternative credit history, cash on hand, boarder income, secondary stated income and non-occupant co-signer.

Contact Meredith for more details.

If you have been near the intersection of 43nd and Ellis lately you will undoubtedly notice that the North West corner there has been making notable progress over the last few months. The development at 4234 S. Highlights of the development include attached parking garage, in building elevator service to all floors, as well as unique BCC custom layouts and finishes. Pre-construction sales are already under way. A model unit in the development and the BCC south side office are both scheduled to finish later this summer.

Please visit 4234 S. Ellis Page for more information on the development or contact Bertina Power at 773-751-5588 for more details. When you call make sure you ask about our “phase two” development plans for the lots surrounding the current 43rd and Ellis development.
